The Minor Eye Conditions Service

This is an NHS service provided only by accredited opticians and you can book directly with us, saving time waiting for a lengthy GP appointment and referral.

  • Red eye or eyelids

    Dry, gritty or uncomfortable eyes

    Eye irritation and inflammatio

    Discharge or watery discharge from the eye

    Recently occurring flashes or floaters

    Painful eye

    Ingrowing lashes

    Recent or sudden loss of vision

    Foreign body in the eye

  • This service is for people of all ages, but children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
